Upper School Admissions
Preparation for College and Life

Millwood School offers an unprecedented Upper School experience with the opening of the 9th Grade in the fall of 2009.
In fall 2010, we will have our first 10th Grade class. We look forward to offering Grades 11&12 in subsequent years.

Millwood School is dedicated to the growth of each student in a supportive environment that challenges the intellect, develops the body, and fosters moral values.

You want your child to be successful. You want them to be happy and healthy, capable of learning effectively, able to make positive choices, and respectful of others. You want them to have the opportunity to fulfill their potential, to learn the value of striving for goals, and to develop self-esteem at a time when there are strong peer influences.

Millwood Upper School provides:

  • Small classes, with a strong Advisory Program
  • Academic courses which meet students where they are and take them as far as they can go; for able students this includes Honors and Advance Placement (AP) Courses.
  • Athletic team opportunities for any interested student
  • An environment of respect, self-discipline, good conduct, and responsible work ethic
  • A safe, peaceful 79 acre campus
  • A friendly, inclusive, and diverse community, with strong parent and grandparent involvement
