 | Our admissions procedures are designed to help parents understand the advantages that Millwood School can offer you and your child. We take a personal approach, welcoming you to the school, and providing you and your child with the opportunity to experience Millwood firsthand.
Families interested in learning more about Millwood School should take the following steps:
- Learn more about the school by browsing the school website. Request our Viewbook. Please phone or email the school for your copy.
- Schedule an appointment with Betsy Latham, the Associate Head of School, to tour the school and discuss Millwood School's program and mission. This meeting usually lasts one hour and is intended for parents only. Phone to arrange a convenient time.
- If your child is already in school (K-8th grade) and you would like to take advantage of our Millwood Morning Program, contact Betsy Latham to arrange a convenient day.

If you wish to apply for Junior Kindergarten
- Junior Kindergarten is a full-day program, Monday through Friday.
- Submit a completed registration form and the $25.00 fee. Registration (Application Forms) are available in our Viewbook, and online.
- Millwood School will then provide written notification.
Please note that entrance into Junior Kindergarten does not guarantee admission into Kindergarten.
Students are enrolled in the Junior Kindergarten program on a space available basis. No assessment or evaluation is administered for entrance to the Junior Kindergarten Program.
Parents who want to apply to Millwood's Kindergarten should contact Mrs. Betsy Latham as early as possible and arrange a Readiness Evaluation for their child. |

If you wish to apply for Kindergarten
- Submit a completed application with testing fee. Admission Forms are available in our Viewbook, and online.
- Schedule a Readiness Evalution to be given at Millwood.
- Arrange an appointment to discuss the testing results.
- Millwood School will then provide written notification concerning the application.

If you wish to apply for Grades 1-8
- Submit a completed application with testing fee. Application Forms are available in our Viewbook, and online.
- Request records from your child's current school. A form is provided by Millwood, and should be submitted by the parents to the school that the child currently attends. This form is available in our Viewbook, and online.
- Scheduled a Day Visit. The Admission test and placement testing will be administered during that visit. This day gives children the opportunity to experience Millwood.
- Arrange an appointment to discuss the testing results.
- Millwood School will then provide written notification concerning the application.

Open Houses are in January and October each year. We are now accepting applications for fall 2011 for all grades. Please call to make arrangements for an individual visit.
