Early education is the basis for future success at high school and college. Millwood students learn not only how to achieve well academically, but also how to achieve in life. They develop personal confidence, leadership skills, organizational strategies, study habits, and goal setting tactics, that help them fulfill their true potential. Above all, Millwood opens doors to the future, and provides graduates with a real choice when it comes to selecting a high school.
Millwood graduates are well prepared to attend the area’s private high schools, Chesterfield County Public Schools Specialty Programs, the Governor’s Schools, and local county high schools. Most are admitted to their first choice, even when competing for admission to selective programs. Millwood students have the opportunity to earn High School credit for some courses (e.g. mathematics, science, and foreign languages). That achievement depends on individual student ability and courses taken while attending Mllwood School.
