Box Tops for Education
Box Tops for Education is a fundraiser for all accredited schools across the country. This wonderful program can provide us with a maximum of $20,000 annually with just a little effort on our part. Millwood School has the opportunity to raise funds in three different ways. Total earned in 2008 / 2009 $1197
To submit credit for Millwood:
- clip "Box Tops for Education" symbols off products and drop them off at school,
- Shop : The Box Tops Marketplace allows you to earn cash for your school when you shop online. Start at the Box Tops Marketplace at boxtops4education.com. Click on the link to one of your favorite online stores. You’ll be automatically sent to that store’s web site. Shop as you normally would and a portion of your qualifying purchase is donated to your school.
- Box Tops Book Club: Purchasing books through the Box Tops Book Club earns cash for your school—one Box Tops coupon for every dollar you spend on books—up to an additional $20,000 each year. Your school can spend its earnings on whatever it chooses, and is included in your school’s Box Tops for Education checks issued twice a year.
For Clip and Bonuses, our volunteer Box Tops Coordinator tallies all Box Tops coupons and Bonus certificates that have been collected by our school and submits them to Box Tops for Education. Millwood School will be credited 10 cents for each Box Top coupon and the face value of each Bonus Box Top submitted.
For Shop, the amount of the donation we receive varies depending on the merchant and depending on the item or service. Our account is updated on the 15th of each month to reflect the previous month’s activity. (For example, a January statement of accounts will post on February 15th.) Please note that it may take 6 to 8 weeks for some merchants to report your purchases to General Mills.
