Lower school students are given a list of recommended books, to provide both inspiration and guidance for successful and enjoyable summer reading.

Summer time is a great time to indulge your passion for books. The reading lists can inspire you to try new and different authors and styles. Ask your friends what they are reading and swap books so you can share the fun.
Visit your local library and find out what activities they offer over the vacation. The librarians there can recommend books for you and guide your reading. The Chesterfield County Public Library has excellent online catalogs so you can request books by your favorite author. |
Dr B-R's Summer Reading Challenge Dr. Bagwell-Robinson challenges every student to read 12 books over the summer vacation. That is one book per week! Make a note of what you read, and report back to Dr. B-R in September. Please click here to download a reading log to record your summer reading. |
