At Millwood School, it is our goal for 100 percent of graduates to go on to a four-year college or university. Our college preparatory program is made up of a variety of different programs and services that prepare students for the rigors of higher education. Millwood’s college preparatory courses are unprecedented in the Midlothian area. All academic work is directed toward preparation for success in the college admission process, as well as success with college-level work.
College Counseling
Our JK-12 school/college counselor, Suzanne Stines, is an expert in guiding and mentoring students as they prepare to choose the college/university/postsecondary plan that is their best personal fit. Parents also have the opportunity to work closely with Mrs. Stines. To connect with Mrs. Stines and discover how she supports Millwood students and families, please click the button below.

Standardized Testing
The PSAT is administered in grades 9 through 11 in preparation for the SAT. Teachers guide and coach students as they prepare to take these very important exams. In addition, SAT Prep classes are offered for students who request them.
Personal Advisors
Students will be paired with an academic advisor who will guide and direct them throughout the upper school experience. This relationship will involve course selection, the monitoring of academic progress, and the pursuit of personal goals.
