Board of Trustees

Each member of our Board of Trustees makes valuable contributions to the Millwood School community. We would not be able to advance our mission without their hard work.

Throughout the school year, each trustee:

Actively supports and promotes the School's mission, services, policies, and programs
Supports the Head of School and demonstrates that support within the community
Attends all Board and committee meetings and special event functions
Serves on committees and task forces and offers to take on special assignments
Recognizes that authority is vested in the Board as a whole
Makes a personal financial contribution to the School in accordance with personal means
Follows the conflict of interest and confidentiality policies
Separates the interests of the School from personal interests and the interests of a particular constituency
Looks to the school’s future

Current Members of the Board of Trustees

CHRIS WINSLOW - PRESIDENT

Chris Winslow is a founding partner of the Midlothian-based law firm Winslow, McCurry & MacCormac, PLLC, and a former Chairman of the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors (Clover Hill), Chris brings a wealth of experience in both the private and public sectors. He is a graduate of Mary Washington College with a Bachelor of Arts, Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Juris Doctor degree, and the University of Richmond (Certificate). Chris and his wife Kim, are parents to Kate (’30) and Joseph (’36).

JIM TREBOUR - VICE PRESIDENT

Jim Trebour came to the board in 2018. Jim is an Account Manager with Creative Office Environments where he helps businesses and schools with furniture, audiovisual, and IT solutions. Before that, he was an Education Account Representative with Apple working with schools in Virginia, Maryland, and DC. Since 2008 Jim has worked with schools to enhance the teaching and learning experience and has developed a passion for education. Jim is a Virginia Tech graduate with a B.S. degree in Marketing Management. He and his wife, Kelly, have a daughter, Sydney, who attended Millwood from 1st through 8th grade, ('12).

JESSICA DODGE - SECRETARY

Jessica Dodge joined the Millwood Board of Trustees in 2023. In Jessica’s role as Director of Employee Development at Harbor Group Management, LLC., she promotes and fosters individual and organizational effectiveness by developing and offering an array of innovative and diverse programs and platforms with a focus on developing, retaining, and promoting key team members. She and her husband, Rob, have two children, Carter and Ava, who have attended Millwood since Kindergarten in 2016.

CARL HOOPER - TREASURER

Carl Hooper joined the Millwood Board of Trustees in 2023. He is responsible for leading all sales activities at Creative. He is also responsible for general management with profit & loss responsibilities. Carl is actively engaged in crafting solutions for clients to realize their business objectives. Carl has been with Creative since 2005. He has a business degree from Colorado State University, a Management degree from Regent University, and was in the Mini MBA program at the University of Richmond. Carl is a member of several professional organizations including the International Facility Management Association, the Greater Richmond Association for Commercial Real Estate, and the Board of Directors for Steelcase COP Sales among others.

ASHLEY HENDERSON - EXECUTIVE TRUSTEE

Ashley Henderson joined the board in 2021 and is currently the Chair of the Committee on Trustees. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech and Wake Forest University Law School. Ashley is a Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney for Chesterfield County. Her son, Reed, is currently in 7th grade at Millwood.

ERIN WILLIAMS

Erin Williams joined the Millwood Board of Trustees in 2022. Erin is a third-generation Realtor and leads her team, Erin Williams Realty Group at Long & Foster Realtors, where she has been since 2006. She specializes in horse farms, land, residential, investment, and multi-unit housing. Erin holds a BS in Accounting and Finance as well as an MBA from the University of South Florida. Since coming to Millwood in 2020, Erin has served in various volunteer roles and is currently the Gala Chair, President of the Parent Association, and served as the Hospitality Chair for the past several years. Erin and Jack, an Assistant General Manager at Costco, have a son, Whit, who has been at Millwood since the 6th grade.

BRIAN HANRAHAN

Brian Hanrahan is an internist who worked in the HCA hospital system here in Richmond for 18 years. He served in various medical leadership roles while with HCA and now serves on the board of trustees at Chippenham and Johnston-Willis Hospitals. In July 2024 he returned to his true passion, taking care of patients, and has a thriving concierge-type primary care practice with MDVIP at Midlothian Family Practice. He and his wife, Lexi, have been active in the Millwood community since their boys, Ethan and Jack, started attending in 2016.

KEVIN NOREIKA

Kevin Noreika, DO, FACEP is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician who has been practicing in the Richmond area since 2009. He has held several leadership roles, including serving as the Medical Director of the Johnston-Willis Hospital Emergency Department. Dr. Noreika previously served on the Board of the Young Physicians Section of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree from Le Moyne College and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has pursued additional leadership and healthcare management training through programs at prestigious institutions, including the Artificial Intelligence in Health Care Executive Program at MIT Sloan School of Management, the ACEP Emergency Department Directors Academy, the ECI James M. Johnson Physician Leadership Course, and the Health Care Management Program at Penn State University. Dr. Noreika’s son enrolled at Millwood during the COVID-19 pandemic and has continued to thrive in its supportive and enriching environment. As a parent and dedicated community member, Dr. Noreika is committed to advancing Millwood’s mission and fostering excellence in education.

MALLORY SEAL

Dr. Mallory Seal is a dedicated and compassionate Doctor of Physical Therapy with roots in Chesterfield County, where her early experiences as a youth soccer player sparked a lifelong passion for physical therapy. After earning her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech in 2010, she pursued her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in Denver, Colorado, graduating in 2014. Since then, Dr. Mallory has built a well-rounded career working in both outpatient and acute care settings, where she is known for her patient-centered approach and commitment to helping individuals regain function and improve quality of life. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Mallory enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two sons, who attend Millwood School. Whether it’s relaxing by a bonfire, enjoying time at the beach or pool, or getting lost in a good book, she values balance and connection in all aspects of life.

MATT HARRIS

Matt Harris was appointed Deputy County Administrator for Finance and Administration in March 2018. He supervises and coordinates the operations of the County Administrator’s Office and the Office of Constituent and Media Services to help ensure integrated support and interaction with the County Administrator, Board of Supervisors, employees and residents of the County. Mr. Harris also provides strategic direction and supervision to major county functions such as Intergovernmental Relations (the liaison function with state and Federal officials), the Learning and Performance Center, Sports, Visitation and Entertainment and Finance (Accounting, Budget and Management, Purchasing, Real Estate Assessment). He also helps coordinate special events and serves as liaison with the Registrar, Commissioner of the Revenue and Treasurer. In addition, Mr. Harris serves on the Board of Directors for the Riverside Regional Jail, the finance committee for the Greater Richmond Convention Center Authority, the Board of Directors for the VML-VACo OPEB Trust, the Board of Directors for the Chesterfield County SRP Trust, the Board of Directors for the Chesterfield County Schools SRP Trust, the Board of Directors for VRS Deferred Compensation Advisory Board, and is a member of the VACo Finance Steering Committee. Prior to being appointed Deputy, Mr. Harris served as the county’s Budget and Management Director where he led the department and served as a key advisor to the County Administrator and the Board of Supervisors. Mr. Harris received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Virginia Tech and a Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. He lives in Midlothian with his wife, Meghan, and five children.

NAZAR ELKARIM

Nazar Elkarim, Ph.D., joined the Millwood Board of Trustees in 2023. He is currently the Vice President of Product Development Services at Mikart Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Elkarim has over 21 years of extensive global experience in drug development, contract manufacturing, and project and portfolio management. He was the Senior Director of Product Design and Development at Pfizer Consumer Health in Richmond, leading the development of several brands such as Nexium®, PREPARATION H, Dimetapp®, and Robitussin®. Nazar has also managed Johnson & Johnson suppliers of pharmaceutical products. He earned his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Texas Tech University and his M.S. in Organic Chemistry from West Texas A&M University. Dr. Elkarim's eldest son graduated from Millwood School and he has two sons in the upper school presently.

WAYNE CORREIA

Prior to joining the Millwood Board of Trustees, Wayne J. Correia served in the Federal Civil Service in the area of financial management for about 30 years. He holds an MPA from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a licensed private pilot. With wife “B” and two enrolled children, Braelynn and Bryson, Mr. Correia remains committed to the continuing growth and excellence of Millwood School.
